Killer Picasso or lagoon triggerfish (Rhinecanthus aculeatus), this lagoon is full of killer triggerfish, well they would be if they were big enough. There I was just minding my own business and snorkeling along, and I have this triggerfish rush my mask, he did it once, then he did it again and then he did it a third time. I thought to myself this is very cute behaviour. That was before this fish violently attacked me, going for chunks off my body, fortunately I was too big for a mouth full, lucky I am over weight.

We spent the day enjoying the lagoon, laying on the beach, kayaking, reading and of course snorkelling, the situation is just so appealing, with flat blue clear lagoon water with a breeze taking the edge off it from time to time. The wind gets very strong occasionally and made this little heaven a little less than optimal but it is always good to look at even if is a little blowy to get into.
