Let’s go on Holiday

It is not often you wake up in the morning and decided to go on holiday, this year, we were just sitting there thinking it’s not a holiday unless you go somewhere, so let’s just go somewhere. In deciding what to do, we thought, why don’t we just drive west and see where the roads would take us. It’s summer and the Christmas holiday season, so you would think there was a risk we might find nowhere to stay. It all adds to the fun of really, doesn’t it?

We had never been west of the Olympic Highway and so we headed towards South Australia and see what happened. We would normally take the 4WD for the trip, however, since we had just taken possession of a new Holden Belina and decided that it would be good to give this a decent run. So we packed our camping gear in the boot and backseat of the Holden and set off to see what we could find to our west and south.
